A PGCE Foundation Phase strategic planning meeting with a specific focus on reviewing the aims of foundation phase teacher education, its values and principles and current challenges as well as opportunities facing the programme was held in June. In attendance were two alumni who made input from their lived experience of the curriculum.
Many prospective applicants visited the education stand during the Open Day. Some of the frequently asked questions were about the admission requirements, combination of subjects at undergraduate to meet the requirements for PGCE, scholarships/bursaries to study teaching and other qualifications offered by the School.
